The year prior to this attack, the company acknowledged that hackers attempted to gain access to the company’s DNS records so that it could redirect users to a different website however, Avast was able to expel the threat before any damage occurred. But the rest of the available services and products we latterly checked, besides Microsoft’s Windows Opponent, found either 99.9 or 100.
This was the second time that Avast was hacked in recent year. Avast did excellent against extensive, earlier known, malware, ending 99.8 in September and 99.3 in October.
